PROYECTO FERIA DE CIENCIAS EN INGLES: AZÚCAR EN LAS ROCAS


OBJETIVE
INTRODUCTION

SUGAR OF ROCK

 STUDENTS  WILL UNDERSTAND
HOW CRYSTALS (SUGAR) ARE CONFORMED AND WHAT HAPPENS AT MOLECULAR LEVEL.
WHEN THE BRICKS OF A WALL ARE SOLID BECAUSE THEY ARE FORMED BY A NET OF MOLECULAR PATTERNS THAT ARE REPEATED. 
 ATOMS AND MOLECULES ARE CONNECTED BY ATOMIC LINKS THE CRYSTALS THAT SHARE THE SAME COMPOSITION CAN BE  LARGER OR SMALL  BUT THE MOLECULES ALWAYS COME TOGETHER TO FORM THE SAME WAY
1-1000 GR  OF SUGAR
2-500 ML OF WATER
3-10 WOODEN STICKS.
4- A MEDIUM POT (TO BOIL WATER)
5-A GLASS  CONTAINER  
6 – FOOD COLORING

1-WET IN  WATER A TIP OF THE STICKS AND COVER WITH SUGAR
THE SUGAR SHOULD COVER 5 TO 7.5 CM OF THE STICKS. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY.
2. BOIL 2 CUPS OF WATER AND 5 CUPS OF SUGAR IN A MEDIUM COUNTAINER ALMOST THE SUGAR IS DISSOLVED. IT CAN REMEBER YOU AT THE SYRUP.
3-LET THE SYRUP LAY UNTIL IT IS COLD AND POUR IN A GLASS CONTAINER   FOOD COLORING.
4-WHEN THE SYRUP COLOR HAS COLD PUT   SUGARY STICKS FOR ABOUT A WEEK.

SUGAR IS  CRYSTALLIZED WHEN MOISTURIZING
